Bio
Jasmine Kamran, DNP, is a certified registered nurse anesthetist and proud alumna of Marian University’s Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice program. Now serving as part-time faculty within the nurse anesthesia track, she is dedicated to cultivating clinical excellence and professional integrity among the next generation of CRNAs. Dr. Kamran teaches didactic and simulation courses designed to challenge and empower students to reach their full potential. Clinically, she practices within the Indiana University Health system, providing anesthesia care across a broad range of specialties, including pediatrics and pain management. Her academic foundation—rooted in degrees in biology, medical science, and nursing from Indiana University—reflects a lifelong commitment to education, critical thinking, and compassionate care.
A recognized emerging leader in the field, Dr. Kamran currently serves as a Fellow with the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA), where she contributes to advancing the future of anesthesia practice through governance and innovation. She also completed the prestigious Nonsurgical Pain Management Fellowship at Texas Christian University, further enhancing her expertise in non-opioid pain modalities. Beyond her clinical and academic achievements, Dr. Kamran is a passionate advocate for diversity and mentorship, serving as a mentor and clinical ambassador for the Black Girls Do STEM organization and a former member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Her leadership, resilience, and dedication to the Marian community exemplify her mission to inspire, elevate, and prepare excellent nurse leaders for the future of healthcare.
